Welcome to what some might call my "Home Page". I prefer something a little more melodramatic, like "Steve's Labor of Love, Devotion, Commitment, Technical Prowess, and Sorely-Needed University Credits". Yes, somewhere along the line I'm going to get a few credits out of this- and that is a Good Thing. I am finishing my Bachelor of Arts in Communications with the University of the Nations, and I have to make up four credits to complete my degree. You're looking at those four credits. Convenient, eh!
I'm kind of the "techie" here at ArtLab, the guy who dreams in JavaScript, VRML, and Lingo, and whom the designers don't like because I make them learn HTML. I make sure the site is maintained and bungle my way through obscure UNIX commands from time to time in search of better ways of organizing this thing. (I said I was a techie, not a unix hack...)
Below are four "tracks", each track touching on the four main areas of ArtLab: Applied Research, Concepting, Design and Production, and there are detours where appropriate. They're not all-inclusive, just some things I'm particularly into, and my way of showing you around ArtLab.
