Phoenix Commute

Tuesday, February 26th, 2002

I happened to have a digital camera this morning on my way into work, so I snapped this pic of downtown Phoenix. These buildings are about a block from our office.

This is not all of downtown, just the part I see most often on my commute. The larger portion of “downtown” is some blocks south.

Home Sweet Home

Friday, February 22nd, 2002

Well, we signed the title papers, paid a goodly sum in down-payment, and it has all been recorded. The new house is ours!!!

We go over this afternoon for the final walkthrough, then tomorrow AM we start early, moving from our apartment to the house. Woohoo!

Learning CSS Writeup

Thursday, February 21st, 2002

Weighing in on CSS

Thursday, February 21st, 2002

I’ve been watching the latest blogger war: css vs. tables - which is actually not new by any means, but this just happens to be when the blogging community got around to it.

Anyway, I’ve been meaning to do more on that front for a long time, and reading all the opinions on it prompted me to give it a go. It was hard. But I’ve got it going now and I underrtand it a lot better. Check out the test results at http://www.redmonk.net/blog.
