Bad iBook news

I’m Baaaaaaaaack!

Wow. my new iBook fritzed out two days into a week-long vacation. This was no good. “Jim Roepcke” thinks I should send it back and get one of the new ones. First I’m going to try the system disks, then send it back if it doesn’t work.

Being sans net in the Midwest goes on my list of Bad Things (tm).

Developing in “Frontier” helps me use my “brain”.

Weblogging helps me use my “brain”.

Did some “Frontier” coding on the first two days of my “vacation” ;-). Without a constant net connection, it was an excercise in good software design. Build the core, no interfaces, just functionality. It felt purifying.

NetDyslexia tells us how to do a weblog: “DOGMA 2000”. “Jim Roepcke” reminds us: NO RIGHT WAY!

iBook update: I booted from the system disk, and the hard drive is trashed… Oh, VERY NOT GOOD.
