Popularity growing, family travels, geek stuff

Wow. This has been a wild week here at “Redmonk.Net”. I’ve made the permanent list of links on André’s page, and on Robert’s too. I’m down to #23 on the “ETP Top 100”, but it’s not the stats that matter, right?

My mom’s site, http://macmom.editthispage.com, is growing. I had forgotten that Mom first worked with computers when she was printing punch cards for a room-sized IBM “clunker”.

We’re headed to Colorado for a week, for a wedding. Dave says that there’s going to be a blizzard in the Rockies. We’ll see! My wife wants to go skiing. I’m going to work. ;-( But- I have a new iBook to work on! ;-)

Back to code…

OK, not quite yet. interesting tidbit: Robert at “Bump” was one of the founding MacSurfers! Rock on, Robert! MacSurfer has been in my daily rotation since Jan ‘96.

Another Web ‘99 Atlanta veteran, “Jim Roepcke” nails the first rule of weblogging.

I have a client - OK, a relative ;-) - who wants a “Frontier”/”Manila” intra/internet site. I may even achieve my dream of having my own Linux server as part of the deal. Of course, that means that this shirt will have even more relavance for me! Of course, I’m so swamped right now that it’s going to be months before this is a reality.
