Goodbye, Peanuts

Today is the final day that “Peanuts” will be published. Charles Schultz has been doing Peanuts almost twice as long as I’ve been alive. I grew up on the old, old Peanuts books. In an age when some cartoonists retire rather than give in to commercialism, Peanuts’ characters and message thrived in spite of it. This world is a better place because of Charles Schultz and the message carried by his “Lil’ Folks”. Thanks Mr. Schultz.

“Scripting News” gets a redesign. Not drastic, but noticeable. I like it, though I’d rather see a white background behind the actual text.

We survived Y2K without so much as a hiccup. Now that’s the kind of catastrophe I like.
